Your Role and Responsibilities
As Strategic Business Development Director, you will lead our efforts to enter the FMCG market, shaping the future of Schlafender Hase. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will:

Develop and Execute Go-to-Market Strategies: Craft a comprehensive business case and roadmap for introducing our content verification solutions to the global FMCG market
Identify and Secure Reference Customers: Help acquire early adopters to validate our approach and build credibility in the FMCG space
Foster Strategic Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with business partners to enhance market presence and create synergy
Lead Cross-Functional Projects: Coordinate efforts across product management, sales, marketing, and strategic partners to ensure seamless execution
Drive Innovation and Market Research: Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth
Grow and Develop a Team: As the project scales, you will have the opportunity to build and lead a high-performing, motivated team

Your profile

What We’re Looking For

Experience: 5+ years in business development or strategic sales, with hands-on involvement in SaaS sales, Go-to-Market initiatives, and/or market expansion. Experience in FMCG is required.
Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, develop business cases, and acquire reference customers. Strong project management expertise is essential
Mindset: Entrepreneurial, analytical, and results-driven with a passion for building and scaling new initiatives
Knowledge: Deep understanding of B2B SaaS and familiarity with FMCG workflows and challenges.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English is required
Flexibility: Comfortable working remotely or hybrid and managing international travel periodically
